 Vernon
V. Aguirre is the California Region Executive for Banco
Popular North America. Mr. Aguirre is a native of Sonora,
Mexico and a graduate of the University of Arizona. He is
active in his community, serving on the boards of the Maritime
Museum, Museum of Man, Mainly Mozart and San Diego Junior
Achievement.
He previously served on the American
Red Cross Southern California Blood Services Board, American
Cancer Society Board and the American Diabetes Association
Board.
He has been honored for his community
service by the Boy Scouts of America with the “Siempre
Juntos” Community Award, the Mexican American Foundation
with the Caballero de Distinction Award and the California
Mexican American Hispanic Chamber Eagle Award for community
service.
He is a frequent lecturer at California
State University and active 20 year member of Rotary International.
