Bowers is a vice president and the Southeast Regional Sales
Manager for Popular Small Business Capital, a division of
Banco Popular North America, one of the nation’s premier
community banks and a leading U.S. Small Business Administration
Lender.
Leveraging nearly 30 years of her
commercial banking experience and 18 years of SBA specialization
in the Central Florida market, Ms. Bowers overseas the 14
SBA Business Development Officers located in the Southeast
United States in order to ensure superior service and a
close collaboration with the SBA. She and her team contribute
to the Bank’s national expansion effort. Their
efforts have helped Banco Popular North America achieve
a move upwards from 2005’s 11th place ranking to place
4th among all national U.S. SBA lenders with $453,254,890 in guaranteed loan approvals. Additionally, BPNA’s
Florida SBA Lender rankings for the entire fiscal year ending
September 30, 2006, garnered first place in dollar volume
with $98 million, an increase of 49% over prior year volume of
$65,394,100.
