 Brian
F. Doran, Esq. is Senior Vice President and Director of
the Legal & Compliance Division at Banco Popular North
America. He is also a member of BPNA’s Senior Leadership
Council.
Prior to joining BPNA in 1999,
Brian was a partner in the New York office of the McConnell
Valdes Law Firm, from 1997 to 1999. From 1988 to 1997, Brian
was an attorney with Jones Day, a large international law
firm. From 1985 to 1988, Brian was an attorney with the
Emmett Marvin & Martin law firm in New York.
Brian also serves as Secretary
of the Banco Popular Foundation and as Assistant Secretary
of several Popular North America subsidiaries.
Brian serves as a Director of the
Staten Island (NY) Center for Independent Living, a resource,
education and counseling center for persons with disabilities.
He is also a director of the Sisters of Charity Housing
Development Corporation and the Vice-Chairman of the Board
of Directors of the Northfield St. Vincent’s Housing
Development Corporation, both of which provide financing
and development of low-cost senior housing in New York City.
