1992 graduate of Indiana University with a B.S. in finance,
Michael joined NBD Bank’s (which became First Chicago
NBD and then Bank One) commercial banking training program.
He served in various middle market banking roles for 11
years. While at Bank One, he attended night school at DePaul
University and earned a M.S. in Accountancy (1998). In 2003,
Michael joined Banco Popular to help start the Middle Market
initiative. In 2007, he was promoted to head the initiative
for all of Banco Popular. Michael is actively involved in
Junior Achievement and on the board of Youth About Business.
